A new Italian restaurant helmed by a Michelin-starred chef is slated to open next month from space near Metro Center.

Kumiko, the Japanese dining bar led by chef and beverage director Julia Momosé, has been named the 2026 recipient of the Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award.
